Cat Craft / One
Jozy and I are big fans of the entire Buffalo BLUE product line, especially the treats! However, I’m not such a fan of the plastic bag they come in. Looking to jazz up your pet’s treat jar? Download the template below and get started!
what you’ll need
- glass jar
- scissors
- printer/ paper
- spray adhesive
Once you print out the treat label – simply cut it out and use spray adhesive to glue it to your air tight jar. And that’s it. Now it’s time to fill it up. Easy right?!
Grumpy, Sleepy, and Colorful (Cats!)
A few pretty kitties to brighten your day, oh and grumpy cat too. This colorful cat photo was shot by Tim Walker in 1998. Such a fun and original photo. They remind me of colored easter eggs!
Helveticat
Cats + typeface , what’s not to love. This adorable letter press print is available at etsy shop, neat. We’re also loving these cat-inspired sticky notes by JSTORY. They come in several animal designs.
SomeBUNNY loves you
Happy Easter! Today we are featuring one of our favorite friends, Kiba Bunny. Kiba, a senior bunny, was adopted from the Washington Humane Society last August and is such a cutie. Kiba has adjusted well and is loving his new (pampered) life with mom Kate.
While bunnies make great pets, it’s important to remember they are a long-term commitment, similar to a cat or dog. Think adopting a bunny is right for you? Check out WHS’s bunny care tips and questions to answer before adopting. Also, be sure to follow Kiba for updates and ADORABLE bunny pics on twitter @KibaBunny.
Adorable Adoptable: Daisy, available at the Washington Humane Society Georgia Avenue Shelter.
Meow for Monopoly!
It’s official – Scottie Dog has new furry friend after Monopoly fans took to Facebook in a contest to add a cat token to the board game classic. Sadly, the iconic iron token has been retired. But iron or kitty?! I think fans made the purrfect decision.

“We know that cat lovers around the world will be happy to welcome the new cat token into the Monopoly game,” said Eric Nyman, senior vice president and global brand leader for Hasbro Gaming, in a statement. “While we’re a bit sad to see the iron go, the cat token is a fantastic choice by the fans and we have no doubt it will become just as iconic as the original tokens.”
Other new pieces that vied for contention included a robot, a helicopter, a guitar and a diamond ring.
Hasbro will release an exclusive version of the game that includes all the old token pieces, along with all the new candidates, on Feb. 15. The new version of the board game, in which the iron will be replaced with the cat will be released this fall.
